The laboratory uses Roche's next-generation real-time PCR instrument, the cobas® z 480 automatic quantitative PCR analyzer. The analyzer can perform quantitative analysis on samples with fast analysis and reliable results. Support analysis and research on gene expression, gene detection, gene quantification, SNP mutation detection, genotyping and gene scanning.

The lab uses the Ion GeneStudioTM S5 system from Thermo Fisher Scientific. Based on next-generation semiconductor sequencing technology and the latest Ion Hi-QTM chemistry, the Ion S5 system delivers faster operation, simplified targeted sequencing processes, and high-quality data. It is the only benchtop sequencer that is compatible with both targeted sequencing, minigenome, exome and transcriptome sequencing.
