Under the new situation of studying and implementing the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and vigorously developing new quality productivity, on the morning of March 17, 2024, the unveiling ceremony and academic exchange conference of the Cancer Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Detection Research Center of the Biomedical Innovation Research Institute of Ningbo University were held at Zhejiang Tianyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The leaders and experts attending the meeting include: Academician Qian Wei from the American Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, Secretary Wang Qianyong from the School of Medicine at Ningbo University, Secretary General Hu Baohua from the Ningbo University Alumni Association, Vice Dean Mao Haijiao from the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University, and Dean Wen Jinsheng from the School of Basic Medicine at Ningbo University School of Medicine. Vice Director Pan Yuning and Vice Director Wang Xiaorong of the Imaging Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University. Firstly, Secretary Wang Qianyong of the School of Medicine at Ningbo University, Secretary General Hu Baohua of the Ningbo University Alumni Association, Academician Qian Wei of the School of Medicine at Ningbo University, Chairman Huang Bisheng of Zhejiang Tianyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Vice Dean Mao Haijiao of the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University, and Dean Wen Jinsheng of the School of Basic Medicine at Ningbo University jointly unveiled the plaque for the Cancer Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Detection Research Center of the School of Biomedical Innovation at Ningbo University. Subsequently, Secretary Wang Qianyong of the Medical Department of Ningbo University and Secretary General Hu Baohua of the Ningbo University Alumni Association presented appointment letters to the two center directors. At the unveiling ceremony, Secretary General Hu Baohua of the Ningbo University Alumni Association delivered a speech. He provided a detailed introduction to the relevant situation of Ningbo University and its alumni association, elaborated on the basic functions of Ningbo University Alumni Association, and proposed the direction for future development. He stated that driven by the rapid development of Ningbo University, the work of the Ningbo University Alumni Association has also steadily and rapidly developed. With the attention of all previous school leaders, especially under the guidance of Secretary Zhu Da's idea of "serving alumni is serving the school", the work of the alumni association of Ningbo University has developed well, ranking among the best in China, and won the title of exemplary organization for alumni work. 77 local alumni associations and various professional committees have been established. At the same time, various alumni platforms both domestically and internationally are providing excellent and proactive services for alumni.
During the development process, we have also received feedback and support from many alumni. Among them, alumni enterprise Zhejiang Tianyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a representative of the joint development with Ningbo University. At that time, faced with multiple choices, Chairman Huang Bisheng, with deep feelings for his alma mater, steadfastly donated 10 million yuan to jointly build a Biomedical Innovation Research Institute.
This reflects the transformation of alumni work at Ningbo University from emotional development to a community of career development. I hope this combination can make greater contributions to the construction of the medical peak in Ningbo, the development of the medical discipline at Ningbo University, and the rapid leap of alumni enterprises.

After the unveiling ceremony, the attendees, accompanied by Chairman Huang Bisheng, visited the Tianyuan Biotechnology Exhibition Hall and gained a deep understanding of the construction of Tianyuan Biotechnology's "pre diagnosis, treatment, health, and maintenance" full life cycle health management system. We have jointly established the first metabolic immune monitoring joint laboratory in China with the National Health Commission, becoming the unit responsible for formulating immunity standards in China. Jointly establish the Cancer Precision Detection Research Center and Biomedical Innovation Research Institute with Ningbo University. At the same time, we will establish the world's first HLA typing library for mesenchymal stem cells during the perinatal period. We have realized the suspension culture of stem cell seed cells, developed the co culture method of TIL cells and stem cells, and the "Tumor Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Detection Research Center" of Ningbo University Biomedical Innovation Institute currently under construction, realizing the corporate vision of sharing high-quality medical resources, building a new digital medical infrastructure, and building a "scientific essence, protecting human health"!

At the academic exchange meeting, Qian Wei, the director of the Tumor Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Detection Research Center of the Institute of Biomedical Innovation, Ningbo University, and academician of the American Academy of Medicine and Bioengineering, made an academic report on the establishment of the multi omics map of the sensitivity of new adjuvant therapy (breast cancer). Today, breast cancer has become the largest cancer in the world, so it is urgent to establish an early screening and early treatment system for such diseases.

Subsequently, researcher Fang Shuai from the research center presented an academic report on the research progress and current status of early diagnostic kits for lung cancer. Ni Jiajing, a graduate student from Ningbo University, reported on the study of predicting the growth dynamics of pulmonary nodules in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease based on the integration model of chest quantitative CT and clinical features. The report provided a comprehensive and easy to understand explanation of the research progress of gene testing and intelligent imaging in the field of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment from different perspectives. The content is novel, cutting-edge, practical, and forward-looking, providing a good reference and inspiration for practitioners in the medical field.
The academic atmosphere on site was lively, and the attending experts, doctors, and engineers had interactive exchanges and answered questions.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Huang Bisheng of Zhejiang Tianyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. made a summary of the conference. Huang pointed out that Tianyuan Biotechnology and Ningbo University have a deep cooperation, and as alumni enterprises, we should take the lead and set an example. The original intention of the enterprise is also to promote the construction of the "Medical Summit" plan at Ningbo University. Building research institutes and laboratories together is just the first step in school enterprise cooperation. In the future, with the development of the platform, there will be more in-depth cooperation projects. The Cancer Artificial Intelligence and Molecular Detection Research Center is the second project to be implemented after the establishment of the Biomedical Innovation Research Institute at Ningbo University. Next, we will also put our work into practice and support the development of our alma mater with practical actions. Alumni are an extension of the school, and the school is the spiritual bond and home for alumni. The establishment of the laboratory is a concrete manifestation of the emotional and career community between alumni and the school.
A good wind relies on leverage, setting sail at the right time. In recent years, the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Government have made extraordinary efforts to promote the construction of a medical peak, and Ningbo University has been striving to promote the construction of a Double First Class University. The establishment of this research center is timely. Artificial intelligence and new genetic testing technologies are the most important means in the field of precision diagnosis and treatment of tumors. Under the leadership of academician Qian Wei, an internationally renowned artificial intelligence expert, the Center will gather all forces of industry, university and research to form an innovation team, use new technologies of artificial intelligence and gene detection, research and develop early accurate detection products for lung cancer, breast cancer and other high incidence malignant tumors, help enterprises break through development bottlenecks, provide new quality productivity for the economic and social development of Ningbo City, and contribute new strength to the high-quality development of Ningbo University.
