On November 13, 2025, the National Finals of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Biomedicine were grandly held in Hainan. Dr. Chen Junjie, Technical Director of Zhejiang Tianyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and a Postdoctoral Fellow from Harvard Medical School, represented the company in the competition. As the only enterprise from the Ningbo region to reach the finals, Tianyuan Biotech stood out among more than 200 top-tier enterprises nationwide and advanced to the finals ranking first in its group.

      Dr. Chen Junjie’s presentation was titled "Novel Therapy Using Autologous iPSC-Derived Cardiomyocytes for Heart Failure," focusing on the innovative application of iPSC (induced Pluripotent Stem Cell) technology in treating heart failure. He clearly explained how iPSC technology reprograms somatic cells to generate cardiomyocytes with differentiation potential, offering new therapeutic hope for heart failure patients. During his speech, Dr. Chen also detailed Tianyuan Biotech’s strategic layout and R&D achievements in the field of iPSC technology. He noted that the company has made significant progress in areas such as iPSC induction and differentiation, as well as optimization of cell culture conditions. The company is committed to translating iPSC technology from the laboratory into clinical practice, providing safer and more effective cell therapy solutions for patients.
